An exciting new initiative for Forfarshire gets underway at Mackays Forthill on Friday 24th August when the club will host its first ever Women's Softball Cricket Night.
The event is open to all women/girls who fancy a fun night and the chance to have a go at cricket. Just come along, everyone is welcome!
There will be no pads, helmets etc and no experience of playing cricket is required to join in. This is just an opportunity to have a bat or bowl and some fun - with no equipment needed.
The night starts at 6.45pm with a quick warm up and from 7pm to 8.30pm there will be some softball cricket games. The emphasis will very much be on enjoyment.
Refreshments will be provided for all participants and the bar will be open with spectators very welcome. There is no charge for participants - or spectators!
