Match report

Forfarshire travelled up to Bechin for their latest league game. Batting first they made a good start with Scott C (13) and Chris W putting on 42 for the first wicket. Chris W went on to retire having made a first ever 30. Callum W then came in and scored a very quick 30 ( retired) and some further hitting down the order saw a total of 105 for 5 being posted. This was a good batting display on a tricky wicket.

Brechin quickly found themselves behind the clock against some very accurate bowling from Callum W, Samir H, Pryianaz C and Scott C. New boy Michael M took 3 for 5 on his debut and bowled very well. Special mention goes to Craig McC who managed to perform the rare feat of taking a hat trick and he also finished with figures of 3 for 5.

The Brechin innings closed on 42 all out and this was an excellent display from Forfarshire on all fronts.

Well done again to Craig McC for his hat trick...
