Match report
Forfarshire travelled down to Arbroath for their latest league game and after some fine recent performances this was going to be a measure of how the team had progressed against what is always a very strong Arbroath team. Forfarshire were invited to bat first and unfortunately produced a very poor batting display and only managed 63 all out. Credit first goes to Arbroath who bowled well ( in spite of a number of extras) and the Forfarshire boys clearly still need a lot of work on their batting technique on this showing.

Well done to Jack S and Jim R on season's debut for the under 15's who both played well towards the end of the innings.

Callum W ( 1 for from 4 overs) and Samir H ( 1 for 5 from 3 overs) both bowled very well at the start and this was followed on by Craig McC and Michael M who both had identical figures of 2 for 17 from 4 overs. This meant it took Arbroath until the 19th over to knock off the winning runs with 3 wickets to spare.

This was a very good display in the field for the Forfarshire boys and left them contemplating what might have been had they performed better with the bat.

All credit again to a very well drilled Arbroath outfit.
