Forfarshire won the toss and elected to bat first. Chris W and Tom O fell early but Callum W ( 31 retired) and Pryianaz C (11) rebuilt the innings before Samir H with a quick 20 not out took the score up to 95.

In reply Strathmore had a shaky start but some good mid innings hitting meant they were always in with a chance. Callum W ( 1 for 4) bowled well and Jim R ( 3 for 21) then bowled a match winning spell which saw Forfarshire secure a narrow victory from the last ball of the game.
