Forfarshire 1st XI are the current 50 over Scottish Cup and T20 Scottish Cup champions having successfully defended their 2022 titles to secure back-to-back trophy win in 2023 and again qualify as Scotland's representative at the European Cricket League. The club 2nd XI play in the North East Championship while Forfarshire's 3rd XI plays in the SPCU with a focus on enjoyment, player development and young players making the transition from junior to senior cricket.

Based at Forthill Community Sports Club in Broughty Ferry, Forfarshire Cricket Club runs three senior teams and a thriving junior section with teams at under 18, under 16, under 14 and under 12 levels. Qualified coaches provide all year round high quality junior coaching for boys and girls including indoor winter indoor matches.

Significant improvements have been made to club facilities at the Forthill ground in recent years, with a custom built three-lane indoor practice facility completed in 2017 in addition to a new electronic scoreboard. The club was the first in Scotland to install hybrid playing wickets, with three strips converted during the 2022/23 winter. The pavilion bar and function suite provide a modern multi-purpose facility, while an ongoing program of improvements to pavilion facilities continues today, with a lift to the first floor installed in 2023 and new accessible toilets underway.
