The Ferry Forfs - Season 2016

The Junior Section of Forfarshire Cricket Club has been
re-named the Ferry Forfs to help promote the club more
widely in the local area.

Coaching Times and Programme:

The club will again be running coaching sessions for all boys and girls under the age of 18.  Coaching sessions are run by ECB qualified coaches right through the summer (including school holidays) at the following times:

Players in the u18 and u15 age-groups will be allocated to a squad by the coaches listed above.

All parents are welcome to stay during the sessions to learn more about the game and to help out with the sessions.

Additional Sessions:

There will be an additional junior practice session each Wednesday evening from 6pm to 8pm (start date tbc) to which the age group squads will be invited on a rotational basis and scheduled to accommodate the fixture schedule.

All teams have a programme of organised fixtures throughout the summer, while the under 8's play games during their coaching sessions, as well as learning the skills of the games.

As a result of the success of our Youth Development Programme which has been running for over 20 years, many of Forfarshire's young players have gone on to represent Dundee and Tayside/Fife in area and regional competitions and some have represent Scotland at junior and senior levels.

Junior Player Registration:
All junior members of Forfarshire Cricket Club are required to complete a junior registration form and abide by the junior player code of conduct.
