The club intends to rename its Junior teams to names beginning with either "Broughty" or "Ferry" to help increase local awareness of cricket at Forthill and to make the profile of the junior section more attractive to sponsors.
Players of the five junior age-goups (kwik-cricket, mini-hardball, u13, u15 and u18s) are invited to submit their ideas for team names, with examples being the Ferry Foxes, Ferry Flyers, Ferry Phantoms, Broughty Bears, Broughty Bothams, etc.
The course is delivered by Sandy Scotland and will highlight the fundamentals of umpiring and laws that need to be adhered to.
