Junior Prizewinners 2005

Gavin Martin - J.D.Adams Trophy for the Most Promising Junior
Guest of honour and sponsor of the junior section, John Adams of Jolly’s Hotel spoke of his pleasure at the strength of the Club’ junior section and pledged his continued support before presenting Gavin with the J.D.Adams Trophy for the most promising junior.

Ryan Milne – The J.R.Auchinleck Shield for Outstanding Performance
The biggest smile of the night was on young Ryan’s face after Dick presented him with the J.R.Auchinleck Shield for "Junior Clubman of The Year" as recognition for his enthusiasm and effort around the Club.

David Salisbury – under 13 batting (The David Sword bat)
Kevin Singh – under 13 bowling
Alan Salisbury reported on an enjoyable and successful under 13 season with the team spirit, effort, and improvement shown by a number of players being more important than playing statistics – although the run of excellent results that saw the team reach the Scottish Cup final was a highlight for everyone involved with the team. Scotland representatives Kevin (u12), David and Aman (u13) were congratulated on their honours.

Elliot McCandless – under 15 batting
Richard Sim – The Thistle Trophy for the Most Improved Player
Dave Martin spoke of a season that saw the under 15s undefeated in the league, their only loss being in the Scottish Cup. Many of the squad produced some outstanding individual performances but once again team spirit was a major factor in the teams performances. Craig was congratulated on his selection Scotland under 15’s in the European Championships.
