WELCOME TO FORFARSHIRE FANTASY LEAGUE 2016
It is with sincere regret that one half (the bigger half) of the board at Fantasy Forfs HQ has fallen on his sword and sensationally tendered his resignation. Yes, Dale Sweeney has moved onto pastures new and is plying his trade with the Aberdeenshire 4th XI (Grades) XI. I'm sure you will all join in wishing him all the very best and thank him for his contribution.
Right, back to business, this will be the fourth season of Forfs Fantasy League and we're delighted to announce that the brains of the Wallace duo has been signed to replace Dale at HQ. Same rules apply as normal.
Please encourage family members, friends, colleagues alike to get involved and back the club!
In a change to normal deadlines there will be a 2 week bedding in period to enable you check up on performance and availability. Closing dates for entries will be Saturday 14th May 2016.
Please hand entries to any team captain, Dave Thomson, Liam Sweeney, Andrew Wallace, or leave behind the bar.
How to Play:
Select your Forfarshire Dream Team from the list of available players on the attached entry form – everyone is included from the under 15 age-group upwards – and pick the team that you think will perform best throughout the season.
Every player has been given a million pound rating by the Forfs Fantasy League Committee (Liam & Andy) and you have a maximum of £145 million to spend on eleven players to make up your Dream Team. There are also limits on how many players you can pick from each of the club teams.
All entries must be received and paid for before 12noon on Saturday 14th May. Hand your entries to any team captain, Dave Thomson, Andy Wallace or leave in an envelope behind the bar.
