Forfarshire are deeply saddened to hear of the passing of former junior coach David Sword.
David was an extremely popular coach and will be fondly remembered by the many players he coached and for his polite and friendly manner.
To this day the club still present the David Sword bat, an annual award for the most promising junior at the club.
Our thoughts go to his wife Irene and son Graeme.
For those wishing to pay their respects, David’s funeral takes place on Friday 12th May at Dundee Crematorium at 12.30pm.
