We are excited to announce that a Forthill Sporting Memories Club will be starting at Forthill on Friday 1st December, between 11am and 12.30pm.
Thereafter the club will run weekly every Friday between 11.00-12.30 in the clubhouse and is a great opportunity for people aged 50+ to continue their sporting journey.
What is Sporting Memories?
Sporting Memories Clubs are for people aged 50+, bringing individuals together to reduce isolation and loneliness and support people with their physical and mental wellbeing.
It is a social club providing an opportunity for individuals to reminisce about sport, laugh, have fun, make friends and possibly meet some old ones!
The club will be run by hub volunteers who will run a variety of fun 'A Question of Sport' style activities and lead sporting conversations shaped by the sporting interests of those in attendance.
Some fun and gentle physical activity will also be included.
The Forthill Sporting Memories Club is free to attend with tea/coffee provided. The club is open to anyone 50+, those who have a connection to Forthill and anyone from the wider community with a love of talking about sport.
