Craig Wallace was last night inducted into the ‘Forfarshire CC Hall of Fame’ at the 2024 Senior Awards evening.
Craig’s commitment and dedication to the club on and off the field is evident for all to see and he joins the elite group of Forfarshire CC Hall of Fame inductees.
Fellow Hall of Fame member Alex Steele MBE remarked on Craig’s natural talent and remarkable ball striking ability noting a “brutally magnificent century that took everyone by surprise” by Craig at an early age and recalled with so much pride the success of Craig’s wicket-keeping career with Forfarshire and Scotland.
Alex continued that “Craig’s enthusiasm to this club has been phenomenal” and joined everyone at the club in wishing Craig great success in his recent appointment as Head Coach of the Scotland Women’s team.
Craig received his award from former Forfarshire captain and Hall of Fame inductee Umair Mohammed.
Everyone at the club is immensely proud of all that Craig has achieved as he becomes the sixth inductee into the Forfarshire CC Hall of Fame and we wish him every success in his coaching career.Congratulations Craig!
