Forfarshire are delighted to formally announce that David Colin-Thome will be our overseas player/coach for season 2013.
Dave will be arriving in the UK next week (24th April) and will be with us for the whole season. He comes from Perth, Australia where he plays for the strong Subiaco Floreat CC. He is presently the captain of their second grade team and also has first grade experience. Dave has been batting at number four for his club side and also bowls left arm spin.
Dave has a double degree in Health and Physical Education and is also a fully qualified cricket coach, so as well as helping the first team on the field, we are sure that he will be great asset to the club off the field.
Dave is very much looking forward to working with the undoubted young talent we have at the club and helping everyone to improve their game.
Dave is 28 years old and will be accompanied by his wife Olivia; and we are sure that the whole club will give them both a very warm welcome to Scotland and to Forfarshire.
