Forfarshire CC are delighted to announce
Aaron Lilly as player/coach for the 2014 season.
Aaron
plays for the Subiaco Floreat Cricket Club in Perth, Western
Australia and is a fast bowling all rounder. He comes to us on the
recommendation of David Colin-Thome and we very much look forward to
welcoming Aaron to Forthill ahead of the new season.
A
teacher by profession, Aaron has extensive coaching experience and
runs a business in Australia which offers specific one to one
coaching. He is a Grade 2 Cricket Australia coach and has recently
been employed as a lead coach with the Justin Langer Coaching Academy
during some of their coaching camps.
Aaron
plays in the first grade side at Subiaco Floreat and has played
an integral part in winning the one day competition for the
area when he was a member of the victorious Subiaco Floreat side over Willetton CC at
the WACA ground in Perth. Not content with one day success, Subiaco
Floreat have also just reached the two day final and are hoping to
complete the double. Other players who represent Subiaco Floreat when
available are Australian bowler Nathan Coulter-Nile and the Perth
Scorchers' Jason Behrendorf.
Aaron
is looking forward to coming to Scotland and being part of our club.
He will be coaching at the club on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and
Thursday evenings - and will also support our local schools coaching
programme between Easter and the summer holidays.
We hope everyone will extend him a warm welcome when he gets here and
will make him feel a part of our club from the word go.
