Forfarshire CC Race Night… with a fun and unique twist!

New Date - Saturday 22nd July

Forfarshire are holding a race night at Forthill on Saturday 22nd July but this isn’t a normal big screen race night - this unique format features jockeys from the club battling against one-another to bring their trusty wooden horse over the line first.

Jockeys and horses are attached by string and whichever jockey can wind in their horse first will win the race, win a prize, and win for the successful horse owner!

There will be six races over the Forthill ballroom racetrack followed by the grand finale - the Wallace Vets Champions Chase - for the winners of the first six races.

Race 1 - six of the under 13's
Race 2 - six of the under 17's
Race 3 - the ladies race!
Race 4 - six of the 3rd/4th team squad
Race 5 - six of the patrons/oldies!
Race 6 - six of the 1st/2nd team squad
Race 7 - the winners of races 1 - 6

Jockeys places are limited, so contact Jim Wallace now to reserve your spot and name your own horse for just £3 (£1 for u13’s) on james.r.wallace@btopenworld.com Prizes for all winning jockeys! Jockeys and their horses will be sold to an owner on the night who will win an even bigger prize if their horse wins!!

Food served at 9.30pm!
Stovies and oatcakes will be served at approx 9.30pm and included in the £6 race night entry fee.

First race 7.15pm!
The evening starts at 6.45pm with the first race at 7.15pm. 

The aim is to have fun together as a whole club and in the process raise money for club funds, so please encourage all your friends, parents and colleagues to come along!

Sponsorship Opportunities!
Sponsors are also required for each of the six races - the sponsor can name the race and will be mentioned at the race time and on the race programme. Sponsorship costs are £25.00 for each race.

Tickets can be bought on the night or in advance from behind the club bar.
