In their first home game of the season, Forfarshire under 15's welcomed a strong Arbroath side. On losing the toss Forfarshire were asked to bat first and Scott C( 22) and Chris W(16) had a good steady opening partnership. Some good hitting at the end by James B( 15) and debutant Calum W(17 not out) helped Forfarshire to a good total of 92 for 5 at the end of the 20 overs.

In reply, steady early bowling from Scott C and Pryniaz saw Arbroath behind the run rate and Samir ( 3 for 18) and Craig (1 for 10) carried on the good work. It took a fine innings from Scotland under 15 player Ross M (24 not out) to take the game away from Forfarshire and Arbroath clinched victory in a tight game in the final over.

Forfarshire can take a lot of credit from this game with a much improved batting display being followed up by another good effort in the field against the strongest team in the league.
