Match report
After a fine win in the last round, Forfarshire travelled to Kinross in the latest round of the Scottish Cup. Forfarshire lost the toss and were invited to bat and a combination of some good bowling and a wicket of very low bounce saw the Forfarshire team struggling. James B with a fine 18 played well, but otherwise it was a bit of a struggle and the innings closed with a disappointing total of 52 all out.

Kinross also found batting tricky and some good bowling and fielding meant that in spite of defending a low total the Forfarshire team gave their all. Unfortunately the wickets didn't come and Kinross eased to a nine wicket victory.

This was a disappointing display in terms of the batting but a good bowling and fielding effort has to be commended. Credit must be given to an excellent Kinross team boasting a few Scottish international players and it would be a surprise if they did not progress much further in the competition.
