Forfarshire played Meigle on their first game on the new artificial wicket at Forthill and having won the toss opted to bat first. Scott L played some fine shots on his way to a first ever 30 not out which saw him retire. Callum W played some big shots in a quickfire knock of 32 which also some him retire. Craig McC ( 14 not out) and Andrew G ( 16 not out) put on a quick partnership of 31 runs at the end and a fine total of 116 for 3 was posted.

Tight opening spells form Callum W ( 1 for 8 ) and Scott C ( 1 for 7) put Meigle behind the clock and Samir H ( 2 for 3) then made further inroads. All of the other bowlers also picked up wickets and Meigle were eventually all out for 75 off the last ball.

This was a fine all round performance by the Forfarshire team and everyone contributed well throughout the game.
