Forfarshire entertained Rossie Priory at Forthill on a nice sunny evening. Forfarshire won the toss and batted first, but quickly found themselves in trouble at 28 for 5. A good partnership between James B ( 23 ) and Scott C (12 ) restored some order to the innings and some lusty blows from Conor M ( 17) pushed the total above three figures to a respectable 106 at the close of the innings.

At 47 for 2 Rossie were in a good position, however continued good bowling and fielding pushed the scoring rate up and in spite of a solid 32 from A Lynch and some good hitting at the end from C Pringle ( 19 not out) the Rossie innings closed 12 runs short and Forfarshire recorded a good win.

The wickets were shared between Pryianaz C, Samir H, Chris W and Craig McC.

This was another good performance from Forfasrhire and scores above 100 are now coming regularly. The now normal good bowling and fielding performance was also in evidence and the team continues to build into a good unit.
