Forfarshire batted first on a nice sunny evening and James B played a fine innings at the top of the order and retired on 33. Callum W also played well for his 24 and some good hitting at the end from Andy G saw the total up to 90 for 3.

The Brechin opener scored a quickfire 30 ( retired) to keep Brechin in the game , however some fine bowling from Jim R ( 2 for 7) and Craig McC ( 4 for 15) saw Forfarshire home to a 9 run victory. The final over of the innings was bowled very well by young Christian R.
