Match report It was a good day and a good wicket, time for Tony to lose another toss. He didn’t disappoint and we fielded first. It was a steady start from the opening bowlers and Rhino picked up the early wicket of Falkland Skipper Stuart Lindsay. The scoring rate was never very high until the skipper decided to ‘change it up’ and bring on Umi. Who looked like he was already on the flight to Pakistan. At drinks Falkland were in a decent position but the tight bowling of Howie and Sam and an excellent second spell from Aman pegged things back. Now confirmed as the youngest debutant in the SNCL, Aman has shown terrific discipline in his bowling for someone so young. A few wickets tumbled and once Watson and overseas amateur Smith were out we knew we could keep the run rate down. 172-8 represented another excellent effort in the field by the Forfs.

Pete and Howie looked to be finding a bit of from and an opening partnership of 58 got us off to a great start. They didn’t look to be in much trouble and we were confident of knocking off the runs. Not to do anything the easy way a flurry of wickets fell to leave us 4 down with not too many more on the board. This brought Weedols to the crease and he and Howie steadied things with a 60 run partnership before he was out caught. Chik came in and knocked the ball around well but when Howie was out things got a bit edgy again. Tom and Chik batted well to help see us home for a deserved victory.
