Ferry Forfs 15's through to finals day.

A magnificent bowling performance from the Ferry Forfs u15s set up a quarter final win over Huntly on Wednesday 20th June.

Forfarshire made the long journey up to Huntly for the fourth time after thee game had been postponed and re-arranged due to rain. Forfs won the toss and asked Huntly to bat on a wet but playable wicket. Huntly started brightly with 22 off as many balls till Hoggy caught and bowled danger-man Squire for 13.

The introduction of Rory to the attack brought a flurry of wickets - Rory taking 5 wickets for only 2 runs, and with 2 from Christian and Marshall, Huntly were skittled out for just 40 in 13 overs.

The Forfarshire coaches decided to give the lower order batsmen a go, but this backfired spectacularly - giving both near heart failure when the Forfs slumped to 14 for 5 in 7 overs. This brought skipper Scott to the wicket and he knocked off the runs with ease, scoring 23 not out to the relief of the coaches and players.
