Match report Batting first, Kinross struggled to cope with the Forfs bowling with only one batsman making double figures. Callum G (4 for 11) picked up a wicket in each of his four overs and was well supported by Callum R (2 for 9), Rohan T (2 for 9), Liam L (1 for 3), and James G Jnr (1 for 6). The Kinross innings eventually closed at 63 all out in the 17th over.

Opening the batting, Callum G powered his way to an impressive 35, including four 6s and two 4s before his retirement half way through the fourth over. If the Forfs thought it was going to be easy after this explosive start, no-one had told the Kinross bowlers or fielders. Wickets fell at regular intervals and accurate bowling and sharp fielding causing a middle order collapse with only a handful of runs required for victory in a dozen overs, so with the 'tail' well and truly exposed, the game was finely balanced. Step forward Gregor V! After a wide and two text book forward defensive shots he pounced on a half-volley, driving it powerfully to the boundary for the win.

This was a great team performance, everybody contributing with ball, bat or in the field, so Junaid N, Meg R, Rohan T, Liam L, Adnan N, Simon A, Gregor V, Kailas N, James G Jnr, Callum R, and Callum G - take a bow!
