The latest event organised by the fundraising committee took place at Forthill, where a large gathering of people, old and young, tried to guess the winning horse in a number of races.
Our race night was hosted by the tireless Magic Paul, who managed to prise hundreds of pounds out of our hands. When this was added to the sponsor money raised prior to the night, a grand total of over £1400 was raised. An outstanding sum.
Many, many thanks to all those that sponsored the races, bought horses, jockeys, played pitchy (a very entertaining battle!) bought raffle tickets, donated items or indeed attended the event.

Each year we have to generate increasing sums of money to look after the ground, pay for coaching and equipment etc, and your support at events like these is crucial.
