The under 13’s will play in the Scottish finals day of the MCC “Spirit of Cricket” National Knockout after a win over Meigle last night (9th June).

Aman's Match Report:
Forfarshire batted first and a brisk opening partnership by me and David got us off to a good start. Me and David retired after 9 overs, 69-0. Richard and Kev built a partnership with Richard departing for a brisk 28. Harjinder came and went and Priyanaz supported Kev well in a good partnership and we ended up on 132-2.

Coming out to bowl we were quietly confident and quickly started the wicket-taking process with myself getting out both the openers in the first over. I took 4 more in my next over, and we had them at 11-6. Richard replaced me and took a wicket, leaving Kev to take 3 in one over and wrap things up.

All in all, a comfortable victory.


The semi-finals and final will be played on Sunday 26th June
