Match report Forthill batted first and were 38-2 after 11 overs, Cameron being stumped off a wide in the 7th over, and then John batting at number 3 tried one lofted drive too many and was caught at mid-off, both from the bowling of Andy Thorogood. Bryce and Neil built a good partnership over the next 10 overs to take the score up to 83 before a batting collapse saw wickets fall quickly and Forthill were all out for 114 in the 37th over.

Forthill’s defence got off to a good start with Winker removing both openers, and at 30-2 after 10 overs, the crucial partnership of Kevin Thomson and Mannofield pro Kruger van Wyk were at the wicket. Some catches were missed and Thomson’s 34 along with van Wyk’s 43 not out secured the win for Mannofield.
